I swear that things in my life happen that do not involve my brother... BUT not this weekend!... he (and by he i mean we aka my entire family) has been waiting for his next assignment as they were supposed to be leaving wichita falls soemtime this fall but they never gave him another assignment. His first assignment after pilot training was to be an instructor pilot, so they got to spend a good long while in wichita falls. He ahs changed his mind about what aircraft he wanted to fly but finally settled on the F15C.
AND HE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Im not just excited that he got the plane he wanted... Im excited because in a year when it comes time for them to begin his next round of training and finally leave texas he will either be in Klamath Falls Oregon or Boise Idaho cause those are the 2 F15C training bases. Either way they will be close enough to drive to so trips to visit my niece won't have to be planned out months in advance and i may get to see her more than twice a year. I'll have to visist as much as i can considering they will only be there for 9 months-ish and then it will be overseas for sure...
